Videogames God of War Cory Balrog PC

The God of War on PC?

Years ago, Xbox began moving many of its exclusive titles from console to PC (Killer Instinct, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Assassin’s Creed, to name a few). This strategy was recognized by many players, as the company adopted a more accessible stance for those who they did not have their console, either for monetary reasons or preference in use. And it is that many members of the video game community, including developers, believe that exclusive games are not necessary in an age where large numbers of users are looking for ways to play without limitations.

Cory Balrog, director of the world famous God of War, expressed through one of his social networks that he would like Kratos to take the computers of many by storm enthusiastic users. However, he added that it is something that is beyond his possibilities since Sony is the one who has the last word in this regard. And we all know what suspicious that this company is when it comes to its hens that lay the golden eggs.

Despite the honest statement from the developer, Sony’s reality makes sense in terms of competitiveness. For an industry giant, it is important that its best titles are kept at home to increase profits. And the figures support the aforementioned giant: God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man and Uncharted have been all bestsellers and gamers have not risen in protest against the fact that they are Sony exclusive titles.

Of course, only time will decide if God of War makes it to the Master Race.
