A week ago the rumor spread that the next pack of fighters would bring back Mileena and Rain, two classic characters from this fighting game saga. But the real surprise was that the third character that would include the package would be none other than Rambo himself. If true, the fantasy of many science fiction fans would be fulfilled: Rambo vs. the Exterminator
The news broke on Twitter, when a dataminer known as thethiny posted his findings after rummaging through the game’s files. According to thethiny, Rambo would appear in the next Mortal Kombat 11 DLC, along with Mileena and Rain. In addition, the game update would bring with it an extension of the story mode, as happened with the latest downloadable content called Aftermath.
What thethiny found came true today. NetherRealm released the trailer for the new fighter pack where Mileena, Rain and… Rambo indeed appear!
Although the video does not present gameplay of the characters, it does reveal that there will be a version with several improvements for the new generation consoles. These extras will be free and will include more detailed graphics and cross-play.
