Game developer DMM Games has caught the attention of many otaku with one of its most prominent conversions of a smartphone title. This is none other than Princess Connect! Re: Dive, an action role-playing game in real time, which was adapted to anime in June 2020. The player organizes and directs a team made up of various waifus with special abilities, fighting in different game modes ranging from PvP like story mode.
Precisely, the game’s story mode has animated cutscenes where some scenes starring the girls are shown with an invigorating dose of fan-service. However, these views are ‘censored’ by a fine fog that prevents the heroines from enjoying the beauty, something that does not happen in the PC version of DMM.
As can be seen in the images, Princess Connect! Re: Dive for PC is free from the subtle censorship applied to gaming on smartphones. At the moment, this version for computers is available only in Japan, but it is very certain that there are already dedicated otakus that are playing it despite the obstacles posed by the region and the language.
And it is that nothing stops a purebred gamer otaku.
