God of War: Parental Guide

In 2018, developer Santa Monica took PS4 consoles around the world by storm with the highly anticipated title God of War.

The game was acclaimed worldwide, conquering even the most demanding critics who jokingly stated “the only bad thing about this game is that it has an ending”.

That same year, in December, God of War received the award for best game at The Game Awards 2018 event.

This installment has been so popular that memes and videos have been created parodying the adventures of Kratos and Atreus during their journey through the Nordic lands. But the most unique and striking derivative is the book that Insight Editions announced through its Twitter account earlier this week.

It is an educational guide to the alphabet, with which proud parents can teach their children the ABC while entertaining them without risk of be suddenly attacked by a gigantic troll or the ruthless Baldur.

The book consists of 32 pages, covering the journey of Kratos and Atreus through the nine kingdoms. It is superbly illustrated and narrated in a let the little Spartans learn new vocabulary and absorb the (sometimes questionable) wisdom of the fierce Kratos.

The book goes on sale in September and is already in pre-sale.
