Record of Ragnarok is an anime that tells us about the battle for the salvation of humanity through a tournament where 13 humans face off against 13 gods. Proposal made by the older sister of the Valkyries Brunhilde, who at the same time is in charge of choosing the 13 warriors who will have the colossal task of saving our existence.
The work that accompanies Brunhilde’s appearances, from her first appearance when she opposes the gods, is in the key of Dm, characterized by the cante of a female voice:

This section sounds mysteriously magical and basically because of that abrupt use of the C # Chord that does not have a tonal relationship with Dm. The play is further developed during the transformation of the 13 Valkyries into divine weapons (Volud). and it is in that scene at the beginning of chapter 3, where a male voice is added that, as a Gregorian chant, connects us with the divinity of that moment.
