Master of the Universe: Revelation is a Netflix series that continues the adventures of “He Man” and his friends defending Eternia and the secrets of Castle Grayskrull from the constant attacks of Skeletor. And it is during the first chapter where Prince Adam is forced to transform himself into the most powerful man in the universe!
The musical piece begins by pronouncing the phrase “Por el Poder de Grayskull”, with a Riff in Dm, and when he begins to say the phrase “Ya Tengo el Poder” the theme increases in intensity thanks to the input of the drums and a guitar with distortion. To then execute the melodic motif that will be heard every time we see He-Man in action. which in this case matches the images that show us how our hero’s clothing appears:

It is very interesting to note that the music does not complete the complete cycle of the melody to suddenly move on to the next section, this is because the scene is going to show the transformation of Cringer into Battle Cat. Using a direct modulation towards the pitch of Bm, tone that will only last a few bars and then return to the original key:

Once this is finished, the work resumes the initial riff and plays the representative melody of the work, however, as a counterpoint, it mounts another equal melody before the first one ends! an epic work by Bear McCreary.
