Jojo’s Bizarre adventure in its part 2 (Battle tendency), shows us the awakening of powerful humanoids Eicidi, Whamuu and Kars, upon being discovered by the Nazis in Rome.
The work “Awaken” is executed at the moment in which Wammu wakes up to eliminate all those who were guarding the pillar where they slept, and then wake up the other 2. The work tries to give us a quite exotic atmosphere by using the Mixolydian scale (b9) (# 9) (b13) from F.

The basic approach of the song is almost like a repetitive mantra, being accompanied only by a single chord (F5), this allows the voice and the main melody to improvise at will in order to transport us to an ancestral and enigmatic universe.
Great work by Taku Iwasaki to represent these characters that in fact the reference to the bands AC / DC, The Cars and Wham!
