To all of us who have grown up watching anime, we know that our childhood was marked by certain television shows that opened the doors to this amazing animated way of telling stories. Of the few anime that began to air in those years, two stood out (apart from Dragon Ball, of course) for their inspiring and heroic themes: The Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seiya) and Sailor Moon.
Both anime, despite being distanced by their narrative and drawing style, have astronomy and astrology as a common background. This has given the green light to many fans who, using their creativity, have captured possible universes where sailor scouts and saints meet to face a common enemy, or scenarios in which one anime takes elements from the other and fuses them.
This is the case of the cartoonist drawingsfromhell, who decided to arm the sailors with the divine robes of the defenders of the Sanctuary. The golden armor is exquisitely drawn and fits perfectly on its wearers. And, although some armor is not related to the sign that certain sailors represent, the artist’s vision gives us a parallel reality in which Serena and her friends turn to Athena’s call to fight evil for an ideal world.
