The broadcaster TV Asahi presented the results of the vote in favor of the anime song most loved by fans this season. Respondents were more than 130,000 Japanese users who participated through the official website of the station.
The space in which the winning theme song was revealed was directed by the seiyuus Yuji Mitsuya (Shaka from Virgo in Saint Seiya) and Showtaro Morikubo (Shikamaru Nara in Naruto). In addition to counting the most popular songs, the show featured renowned singers Yoko Takahashi and Hiroshi Kitadani.
