The Japanese portal “MantanWeb” announced that the manga Niehime to Kemono no Ou (Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts) will be adapted to anime. This was released in the fourth issue of the weekly magazine «Hana to Yume».
The first publication was made in the magazine Hana to Yume of the Hakusensha publishing house on November 5, 2015. It has managed to reach 1.7 million circulating copies, which are 15 published volumes that it has.
What is Niehime to Kemono no Ou about?
They imagine a town where people are still being sacrificed, because in this story the King of the Beasts and the Demons affirm their dominion by eating the Himan women who offer them to them as offerings. Everything was going well for them until at the 99th sacrifice, a girl they bring to the capital, Sariphi, is not afraid of the Beast King or anyone else. This causes that instead of killing her, she sits next to her and dangerously she can become the queen of demons and beasts.
