The media franchise created by mangaka Koyoharu Gotouge continues to triumph after sweeping the Japanese box office and generating enormous expectations around the premiere of the second season of his anime. Recently, the popular otaku magazine Animedia surveyed its readers on the occasion of its fortieth anniversary, asking which anime they considered the best ever.
Subscribers chose 15 titles as the best anime ever. Kimetsu no Yaiba was placed in first place, followed by Evangelion and Sailor Moon, both titles in second and third place.
The other posts are series that have marked a milestone during their transmission, and to this day they maintain a constant cult. They are Gintama, Sakura Card Captor, Meitantei Conan, Osomatsu-san, Uta no Prince-sama, Boku no Hero Academia, Shingeki no Kyojin, Haikyuu !!, Pokémon, K-ON, Kuroko’s Basketball and Yu-Yu Hakusho.
