Anime manga novela ligera kaifuku jutsushi no yarinaoshi redo of healer kaiyari keyaru flare setsuna uzaki chan ishuzoku reviewers

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi is the most controversial anime of the year

Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai caused a stir on social media due to the many complaints raised against the protagonist Hana Uzaki and her ‘unreal’ body. Before that, Tamaki Kotatsu was used as a board for the darts that many followers of Enen no Shouboutai threw at her due to her distinctive trait of remaining semi-naked whenever she appeared on the scene. And recently, the lovable Nezuko Kamado has been vilified by a feminist group that has called her “everything that is wrong with women in anime.”

witches

But all of that will pale in comparison to the scandal that is sure to erupt in the air in the next few days. And what will cause it will be the new anime Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi.

premiere

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi is the work of the author Rui Tsukiyo, which began to be published as light novels in 2016, to later be adapted to the manga in 2017, maintaining the author’s script and counting on the drawings of the mangaka Shiokonbu. From that moment it was seen as one of the most twisted stories ever told on the stage of a world of fantasy and heroes. And the reason for that is because its plot has as its central figure an individual who becomes psychopath because of the atrocious abuse he suffers from his allies and undertakes a depraved plan of revenge once he manages to free himself from his torturers. .

perpetrator

The protagonist is a magician named Keyaru with healing powers who is recruited by a beautiful heroine belonging to a noble family of paladins. But once the boy is in the palace of Flare (the name of the heroine) he discovers that his destiny is to serve without complaint the heroes and heroines that require his powers. Flare and his entourage subject Keyaru to drugs, sexual harassment, and psychological torture. This causes the young healer to become an addict who begs for his drugs in exchange for squeezing his vitality to use his magic.

But everything changes when Keyaru clears his mind and discovers how to free himself. Using his healing magic she manages to go back in time, several days before Flare arrives at his village to recruit him. And from that moment, with his mind infected by hatred towards her and his loved ones, Keyaru initiates a diabolical plan of revenge. Knowing what will happen, the wizard willingly surrenders to the bitter fate Flare has in store for him, but his preparation pays off and he breaks free from drug control before he is completely subdued. Keyaru infiltrates Flare’s bedroom, and after retaliating by abusing her, he erases her memory and makes her believe that they are both partners in adventures and lovers of hers. In this way, Keyaru begins his cruel journey of revenge looking for the other heroes and heroines who savagely mistreated him.

process

As we can see, Keyaru is not the typical protagonist that many fantasy anime have presented to us. His actions, despite being based on the mistreatment he received, are as vile as those of the characters he wants to take revenge on. Keyaru shows no compassion or scruples, not even with women. He is willing to use the meanest methods to achieve his goals, and he enjoys causing suffering to those who made him suffer. This protagonist is a sadist who will not stop until the last person who hurt him suffers in his own flesh thousands of times the hell he went through.

madness

The anime has already premiered its first episode, with a large number of mixed reviews, among which (of course) the negatives that focus on the overload of sexual violence stand out. The Japanese chain Sentai Filmworks is responsible for its distribution, with the corresponding censorship due to its considerable sexual and violent dose. An uncensored version of the first episode is also available, courtesy of AT-X, in which all strong scenes can be seen in sufficient detail.

scenes

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi is the biggest candidate to be the most hated anime on social media. Many fear its fate is the same as the infamous Ishuzoku Reviewers, which was removed from many streaming services shortly after its first episodes aired. But the impact of the series has already begun to be felt, not only because of the criticism that threatens to become another witch hunt, but because of the announcement of the future launch of merchandise related to this anime.

statuette

KDColle, the branch of Kadokawa dedicated to making figures and figurines of anime characters, revealed the illustrations of Flare and Setsuna (two female characters from Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi) that will be used to shape their respective plastic figures.

figure

Scandal or not, this series has gotten off to a good start, and it is clear that many are curious to see how it ends … or if it manages to finish before it is canceled.
