Following the trend of extravagant holidays, Japan once again wows with an unofficial celebration created by the local otaku community. This Sunday, November 22 The day of the ponytails was celebrated, in honor of such a distinctive accessory present in the trousseau of every waifu that boasts of being one.
The entire otaku community was present through Twitter, publishing drawings of girls wearing their most showy ponytails . Several cosplayers and models also participated (mainly Japanese) with photographs that had the celebrated ponytails as their main adornment. All these posts were made with the hashtag # ツ イ ン テ ー ル の 日.
