The seiyuu and singer Shoko Nakagawa commented very happily, through her social networks, how great she had it during the premiere of the latest Rebuild of Evangelion movie, called Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. She revealed that she had followed the series since she was in elementary school, and had not missed a single premiere of the movies.
Recognized for her role as Saori Kido in Saint Seiya Omega and as the voice behind Gurren Laggan’s theme song, Nakagawa thanked those who did not share spoilers about the film. For her, Evangelion is the best thing the anime industry has created.
The multifaceted artist closed her statement by encouraging everyone to watch the film while it is still on the billboard. Nakagawa commented that she firmly believes that Evangelion is not only a cult franchise for otakus, but is a must-see for contemporary youngsters, as it is a perennial and masterful work of Japanese animation.
