Pokémon is the most successful franchise in the world, however, it has evolved so much that few generations have managed to see the genesis. The first episodes where we saw Ash Ketchum with the great dream of being a Pokémon Master.
His travels seemed endless and he had more friends than himself. He met Aurora, Serena, Miette, etc. But there was one that made a difference in our eyes: Misty.
Reasons enough why Ash should have gone official with Misty:
They supported each other to learn and improve
Although they did not start their relationship well and Ash only made her deny poor Misty, the adventures they undertook were unique. They went out into the world and learned together about Pokémon battles and even being able to trust themselves. Which allowed both of them to grow and improve their skills considerably.
There was an attraction
It was no mystery that there was more than friendship between them. Just a friendship? No, it wasn’t just that … there was a love that blossomed more than the spring buds.
They fought but never let
One can fight and sometimes get away from the other, but they were the opposite. They could argue a lot and not give up.
Jealousy of fire
Jealousy just for a friend? Neither wanted them to hurt the other, especially if they felt many beautiful and tender things in their hearts.
Their pokemon got along
You could tell that they fraternized super well. They and their Pokemon made a nice family. If they get along with their children, there is no more to argue.
